By using our platform, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully. If you disagree with any of the terms, you must refrain from using our services.  

1. User Accounts

- You are required to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information during registration. Failure to do so may lead to account suspension or termination.  

- You are responsible for safeguarding your account details and password. Inform us immediately if you detect unauthorized use of your account.  

2. User Conduct  

Users must not engage in the following activities:  

- Harassing or abusing other users.  

- Committing fraud or impersonating others.  

- Uploading inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.  

- Disrupting the functionality of the platform.  

3. Pricing Adjustments 

We reserve the right to revise pricing at any time, with prior notice provided to users.  

4. Payments and Refunds  

- Payments: All tutoring session payments must be processed through our platform using supported payment methods like bank cards, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Paystack, Paytm, Flutterwave, and Payfast.  

- Refunds: Refunds apply if a tutor cancels the session or if technical issues on the platform prevent the session from occurring.  

- Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance through the platform.  

5. Tutor Responsibilities  

- Accurate Profiles: Tutors must ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information in their profiles. False representation may result in suspension.  

- Professional Sessions: Tutors must conduct sessions in a professional and timely manner.  

- Legal Compliance:Tutors are required to adhere to applicable educational and legal standards in their region.  

6. Student Responsibilities  

- Active Participation: Students should attend sessions punctually and engage actively.  

- Providing Feedback: Constructive feedback and tutor ratings after sessions are highly encouraged.  

7. Cancellation Policy  

- For Students:   

- Up to 24 Hours in Advance: Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours before the session start time incur no penalty.  

   - Within 24 Hours: Cancellations within 24 hours of the session start time will incur a cancellation fee of [specified amount].  

- For Tutors:  

- Tutors should maintain accurate schedules. Frequent cancellations may lead to penalties or account suspension.  

- Tutors must promptly notify students if they need to cancel a session.  

No-Shows:

- Student Absence: If a student misses a session without prior notice, the session fee will still be charged, and the tutor will be compensated.  

- Tutor Absence: If a tutor fails to attend a session without notice, the student will receive a full refund, and the tutor may face penalties or account suspension.  

8. Rescheduling Policy 

Both students and tutors can reschedule sessions up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours may be treated as cancellations, with the applicable fees applied.  

9. Refund Policy  

- Eligibility: Refunds are granted if a tutor cancels a session or if technical issues on the platform prevent the session.  

- Process: Refund requests must be submitted within [specified timeframe]. Eligible refunds will be reviewed and processed within [specified timeframe].  

10. Changes to Policies  

We reserve the right to amend the cancellation policy at any time, with prior notification to users. Continuing to use the platform after such changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
